Passports, Visa & customs
There are a few rules for coming to Sweden which depend on where you are visiting from. Information is available on regulations concerning the length of your stay, how much money you can bring and what products you can take in and out of the country.
Visitors to Sweden must hold a valid passport before starting their journey and children may require their own passports.
A valid passport entitles EU and North American citizens to a three-month stay in Sweden. Citizens of other countries should check with a Swedish diplomatic representative in their home country.

Getting to and around Sweden
Travelling to Sweden is convenient and easy there are plenty of travel options. Once here, our road and rail network provides good access to all regions and to our main visitor destinations.
There are two international airports in Sweden, Arlanda and Gothenburg. The south of Sweden is easily accessible via Copenhagen in Denmark and the Öresund bridge.
